About the Series

Calvin Penney lives in Snooks Arm, a small fishing community in Newfoundland.

A hardworking fisherman and devoted father, Calvin has spent years trying to maintain his family’s stability while dealing with the emotional consequences of his father’s mysterious death.

Although he has built a life in the community, unresolved memories and personal struggles continue to affect him.

When his family returns home for a long-awaited reunion, Calvin hopes to reconnect with his loved ones and create a more stable future.

However, an unexpected arrival soon disrupts the quiet coastal town.

Strange events begin occurring along the shoreline, and reports of an unidentified sea creature spread throughout the community.

As the situation becomes increasingly dangerous, Calvin realizes that the threat may be connected to something much older and more mysterious than anyone initially imagined.

Dr. Fonda Howander, a visiting marine researcher, becomes involved in the investigation.

Together, Calvin and Fonda attempt to understand the creature’s behavior and discover why it has begun attacking the area.

Meanwhile, Calvin’s son Wade struggles to understand the strange events surrounding their family.

As fear spreads throughout Snooks Arm, the residents must decide whether to leave their homes or stand together against the mysterious threat.

With the town’s fishing traditions, local identity, and future all at risk, Calvin finds himself fighting not only for his family but also for the survival of an entire community.

As buried secrets begin to surface, the truth beneath the ocean becomes increasingly terrifying.
